yesterday was the very first time that i went for the dragon boat training. everything was pretty okay.
arrived at Kallang MRT station at 1030am, met up with Xan (the captain) and along with other girls and year ones. so far, amongst the year ones and seniors who went for training, there are already FIVE nurses. not bad eh? haha. they say dragon boat girls team is invaded by nurses. not good meh? haha. yesterday's training was DISASTROUS. me, kellyn and haslinda (she's a nurse from group seven!) were the newest one there. after rowing for less than 20 times each set, we will stop because our arms will be very tired (that's the reason why the instructor make us sit at the back). the scorching sun is up in the air during our training which was from 11am to 2pm. and yes of course, we all got sunburnt. Jasmine, Paul and Suresh were there too! but they're there for their kayaking training. and saw Kelvin from SBM too. today is at least A LOT MORE better compared to yesterday. today we can at least row longer distance then stop. we had our training in the rain today! it was fun FOR ME.. :D Kellyn and Haslinda were shivering in the cold, i did feel cold too, but not as cold as i have more fats than them. Xan and instructor too said that today's rowing improved from yesterday's one. and Kellyn is so happy that she can feel that her muslces are toning up. im happy too cos i too can feel that muscles are toning up too~ its not that much of a big difference lah.
dragon boat training is isnt that bad as what my friends has said it has be, or is it because its jjust the beginning now? hmmm. i doubt so. im quite okay with that training, still can tahan. :D 10 more sessions before the next competition comes, and us, the newbies are going to join in! wheee~ its gonna be EXCITING.
the bone on my butt, limbs muscles and stomach muscles are aching. goodness, how am i going to survive through tomorrow? T.T
boring sia. gotta see Yeo EN face for four hours tomorrow. it can kill as it is bad for health.
