River Regatta is over. results isnt what i've expected from the race, but i know everyone did their best. (: partly its because Lady Luck isnt on our side, unfairness happened to us. & i guess its a bad idea to have it said here. i cried, along with the seniors & tisa too. was really disappointed. stupid shit man, the same thing happened to the guys' team too. why must NYPDB be so unlucky during races? i really "bu fu" about it. ):
i like chris' latest entry on how he, as a new dragon, felt about being part of NYPDB. :D he mention something like "db is not about bods & muscles, but the bond" which i totally agree with. after SRR, i've really learn a lot about dragonboat & bonds within the team. some other CCAs despite being a team sport, individuals have a time to run a solo show on themselves if they're good enough.but in dragonboat, no matter how good you are,you have to work with other team mates to make something happen. its all about team work.
saturday was really freezing cold due to the heavy rain & we got scolded for playing in the rain. =x headed to macs for dinner,sat there for quite some time to chat with the other team mates, then shift place from macs to OUB tower & continue our chatting.our chatting session dint really end,we just cut it off at around 11pm. :D juggernaut was pestering us to go home.lols.
sunday went to visit somebody at SGH.headed to Starbucks for coffee,then to Raffles Place to watch other race going on.all the finals were hell of good race. :D headed to Pasir Ris Elias CC jap restaurant to have our dinner. everyone was camwhoring,& kept eating & eating.the guys kept ordering food non-stop until we girls put up white flags.

kayaking expedition on saturday & nyp kayakers are going, i dont know how am i going to feel that day. i guess i'll feel awkward. its going to be horrible. can i like backout now? okayss its impossible , johnson & seniors will kill me. its terrible. why must it involve them? why cant it be dragonboaters ALONE. somebody please take a knife & stab me now.
