two more days before River Regatta. should i be feeling excited or nervous about it? im having mixed emotions for that. i know River Regatta means a lot to all polytechnics because this race judge where one stand amongst so many teams. im not really in the mood to do anything else cos im like so excited for the major race. hopefully NYP wins something to prove david that we can do better without him! he can be nice coach, but he's too complacent & full of craps sometimes. johnson said NYP's standard is going down instead of climbing upwards, nurul said it may be due to over-trained consequences. interesting enough, i've never heard of such a thing. :D i guess its back to long distance running & weights after Regatta. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... i doubt i'll survive, especially RUNNINGS.thats my worse forte.
my mom is complaining of me going for dragonboat again. "why does your dragonboat happen like everyday? how come must go dragonboat again? no need to study meh?" explained to her upteen times but she's still throwing the same old questions at me. i wasnt trying to be rude in my tone but im always very annoyed when she asked me those over & over again. anyone will be irritated right? -.-
went for training WITHOUT training gear today. johnson let us watch some videos, from the canandian dragons to our very own dragons! he wants us to observe the strokes actually & learn part of it from there. Ngee Ann have this video made by their team for the alumni, talking about their joys, races they took part & everything else. if im the one leaving & watched that video, i will definitely cry. its so nice & makes you thinks back about your dragonboating life! NYP had theirs too but its quite short & not really many pictures. we shall all start accumulating! :D in NPDB's video, their video were as old as 21 years old while NYP's one is only as old as 3 years ago. jil kept saying,"oh my god, that photo is so ugly! that was when i was back in year 1."& also saw the video on how the boat collided during Regatta few years back, hope that NEVER happens to us. *fingers crossed* NPDB have this tradition of going to chinese temple to pray. i guess NYPDB should do that too, pray to the dragon king? :D COOLNESS! (: i can feel the tension of the race just by watching the video on RRG itself. exaggerating? (:
camay & xan fell sick!poor captains.hope they recover before Regatta comes this saturday! the big day is getting nearer & NEARER. i still remember the day which i started counting down was like 47 days ago? now its already TWO days away.
kel & me were happy girls yesterday & only we know why we're both so happy! WHEEE.lols.sea training yesterday, johnson made me change place 2 times & changed boat 3 times,never change so many times amongst all my trainings before. & i love crossing boats! fun~ :D
