my 2007 seems to be an eventful one for me. (:
2007 was the year which i've been rather active taking part in different events. mainly surf&sweat, standard chartered & nyp synergy racing. i never thought that i'd take part in all these because im never having confidence taking part in such things for myself. but all thanks for my buddies who never gave up on me no matter what happens or how slow was i.
2007 was the year which i dropped drastically in my studies due to some problems i was facing at that point of time, but my friends never fail to offer their help in my studies & to make sure that i'll study hard. their encouraging words always make me smile & make me work harder so that i can score better for my gpa even if i'd to stay behind for one semester more. & i'll miss their naggings, a lot.
2007 was the year which i gain friends which i couldnt ask better for. they're not perfect & i do really get mad at them sometimes for things that they do, but they never fail to standby me. simple things such as eating ice-cream together, sitting somewhere bitching like there's no tomorrow, sitting outside yck cheers eating cup noodles together, chatting about irrelevant topics during lecture, singing in the car & toilets, crying together when something happens, stoning at clubroom area when we've no other places to go in school, poking fun & laughing at each other. we laughed at the slightest thing that people think that its not funny. those are the memories that i'll definitely keep & cherish dearly.
2007 was the year which i get to be in a camp committee, officially. it was through teamwork stuffs where you get to see people's true colours in things even if they're nice people, especially whether is the person a backstabber, whether is the person who talks big but no action. & it was also definitely my first time for organising big camps. sucky at certain parts, but it was a great experience.
2007 was the year which i turned legal 18! (:
2007 was the year which an expected tragedy took away 3 ex-nyp talented young men. their demise had caused a great grief to almost everyone in the team & we've all learn to appreciate people more after that - you never know when will they or you be gone. who knows the next sms/call you sent/give might be the last one, who knows the next hug you give to someone will be the last one, who knows the next time you stepped out of house & never return.
2007 was the year which the team went through a difficult phase of not having a coach. conflicts arised within batches & people arent happy with each other. but finally, we tide through it & we've a new coach now. (:
lastly, 2007 was the year which i found him. (: i couldnt ask for a better guy like him. he listens to whatever i've to say, he gives in to me when he knows that im moody, he understands my tight schedule of dragonboating in addition of schooling, he lets me vent my anger on him when someone provoked me, he talks me to sleep, he pamper & dote on me as if im a little girl, he does small little things just to make me smile, he doesnt mind meeting me for a short while just because he misses me despite staying at the far end of singapore. most importantly, he loves sports & he cooks. :D & he never fail to hold my hand tightly, proudly introduce me to his friends, family & relatives. (:
& haslinda will constantly remind me of my new year resolutions because i'll forget about it after a while, i'll constantly remind her of her new year resolutions too! :D
